Belina Calderon-Nernberg is the heart behind LA Jobs. As an immigrant herself, Belina began her journey in the U.S. workforce after being sponsored by a local business for an H-1B work visa. She later obtained her green card, experiencing firsthand the challenges and opportunities of the legal immigration process.

Her experience inspired her to help others follow the same path. In 2001, she founded LA Jobs Employment Agency, Inc. with the mission of supporting skilled professionals—especially fellow immigrants—in finding stable employment and building a future in the U.S.

Belina's story is proof that with determination, the right support, and legal pathways, achieving the American Dream is possible. Her vision continues to guide our agency’s work today.
